Official 'Water for Elephants' International Trailer

20th Century Fox has released an international movie trailer for Francis Lawrence‘s big screen adaptation of Sara Gruen‘s bestselling novel Water for Elephants . The story follows a veterinary student who “abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet.” The film stars Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook. Official Plot Synopsis:Veterinary school student Jacob (Pattinson) meets and falls in love with Marlena (Witherspoon), a star performer in a circus of a bygone era. They discover beauty amidst the world of the Big Top, and come together through their compassion for a special elephant. Against all odds – including the wrath of Marlena’s charismatic but dangerous husband, August (Christopher Waltz) – Jacob and Marlena find lifelong love.
Water for Elephants hits theaters on April 22nd, 2011.


Marion Cotillard leaves 'Cosmopolis'! Who will be Rob's new co-star...Keira Knightley?


The Playlist confirms Marion Cotillard is no longer attached to Cosmopolis: "a rep for Marion Cotillard tells us she indeed had to leave the project because of a scheduling conflict"  Perhaps that “conflict” is her upcoming baby (she’s pregnant), but either way, she’s not in the picture anymore.

So having said that, rumors circulated that Keira Knightley had replaced her (her name & picture appeared on one of the film's production company website)


And then a few hours later her name (&picture) disappeared....


Well EW got an answer from Keira's rep about the recent internet rumors: "nothing could be confirmed at this time"

And, is Paul Giamatti still attached?

The Playlist also points out: "Paul Giamatti, who was in talks for the film late last year for a role as one of the stalkers pursuing the billionaire, is noticeably missing from the cast list. Perhaps he’s been put off from the recent casting changes (...)"
